Introduction

Just Southeast of Everfall lies a powerful azoth powered obelisk that was built by the Ancients. Soon after humans began to colonize the island, the obelisk shattered, awakening the ancient guardians of the temple. Underneath the obelisk lies the Starstone Barrows, a trap-laden dungeon that adventurers will plunder to learn more about Aeternum and its native residents.

Dungeon Quests

Loot Drops

All monsters and bosses in Starstone Barrows have a chance of dropping the following loot:

Tuning Orb

The Starstone Tuning Orb requires the following materials:

Requirements:

  • Stonecutting Skill Lv. 50
  • Stonecutting Table Tier 3

Bosses

Alectos the Relentless

Deals Arcane and Strike damage

Weak to:

  • Strike damage – 20% more effective
  • Lightning damage – 30% more effective
  • Void damage – 15% more effective

Resistant to:

  • Slash damage – 15% less effective
  • Fire damage – 40% less effective

Abilities:

  1. Summon Minions – Alectos will summon 3 minions to fight alongside him
  2. Empower Minion – Alectos will empower one of the summoned minions
  3. Arcane Barrage – Alectos sends out a barrage of 3 arcane orbs at a target
  4. Arcane Pool – Alectos summons a pool of arcane in an area, dealing AoE damage to anyone inside
  5. Arcane Blast – Alectos slams the ground with his staff, dealing AoE damage and immobilizing
  6. Arcane Spheres – Alectos spins his staff and sends out arcane orbs in a frontal cone that deal heavy damage

Before encountering Alectos, the player should notice that adds are already spawned around him, like bodyguards. As soon as Alectos is aggroed, he will summon minions to fight alongside him, adding up to around 6 adds. Since the summoned minions cannot be damaged until after Alectos is aggroed, doing ranged damage to the already existing bodyguards would prove most effective.

The adds should be grouped together and AoE’d down from the DPS of the group, while the tank holds the aggro of Alectos. As soon as the adds are taken care of, switch targets to Alectos. His abilities deal significant damage, so watch out for that as the boss is taken down.

Greundgul the Regent

Deals Strike, Slash, and Arcane damage

Weak to:

  • Strike damage – 20% more effective
  • Lightning damage – 30% more effective
  • Void damage – 15% more effective

Resistant to:

  • Slash damage – 15% less effective
  • Fire damage – 40% less effective

Abilities

  1. Greundgul’s Bone – Greundgul will summon and throw a bone into the ground – the bone then summons ancient skeletons to fight alongside her
  2. Arcane Form – In the 2nd phase, Greundgul transforms into her flight form and leaps around the arena, sending out a shockwave of arcane dealing significant damage

Phase 1 – In phase 1, the only ability to watch out for is Greundgul’s Bone. This bone has a health bar and should be destroyed as soon as it is spawned. The adds that the bone spawns are second priority, but should be cleaved down with Greundgul’s Bone. The tank should hold aggro of Greundgul while the DPS take care of the bone and the adds.

Phase 2 – In phase 2, Greundgul morphs into her Arcane Form for 25 seconds, sending out 5 shockwaves of arcane damage. These shockwaves deal medium damage, but can be dodged. After Greundgul has left Arcane Form, she summons Greundgul’s Bone. Again, this is a high priority and should be destroyed quickly. The bone summons more ancient skeletons in the second phase, and should be cleaved down with the summoned skeletons.
